VDI: Update the VMware Horizon Client

While updating the Horizon Client isn't always necessary, it does include some new features that could make daily operations more simplistic. Updating the application is very simple. See below for directions.

Updates to the VMware Horizon Client can be completed with or without  being logged-in to the "vdi.lambis.com" server. Simply launch the VMware Horizon Client:

Click the "Ellipses (...)" at the top right of the window.

Select "Software Updates".

The Software Updates window will populate and provide the option to update, or note that the application is already updated to the latest version.

  • Click "Check for Updates" if the Updates window indicates updates are available.
